East of Florence and the river Arno, the Road of the Seven Bridges winds its panoramic way through medieval towns en route to Arezzo. Nearby stands Regello, amid its famous olive groves with some streets still retaining their medieval arcades. The 12th century Romanesque church of San Pietro a Cascia is well worth a visit. Access to the main A1 autostrada is 10 km away, offering good, rapid access to Florence (45 minutes' drive), Arezzo, Montepulciano, and even Rome.The views from the house are intensely relaxing to behold, especially from its spacious furnished terrace, and they uninterruptedly follow all points of the compass.
